Bad Kids in Fiction

In case you were wondering, Ghostwriting Book 9 is due in ONE WEEK! Yes, one week. So the inside of my head sounds likes this:

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

But it is okay. I am home working and, well, that’s about it.

So, the other day, I had a Fumbling with Fiction commenter who didn’t appreciate the fact that I liked a certain book and therefore wished on me that I would have a child exactly like the main character. This, I gather, was a strong curse. And yeah, I mean, I’m not sure I want a kid like said main character.

But, this got me to thinking. In books I really enjoy, what characters would I not want as my children?

My most coveted kid would be Hermione Granger.

And while I like Katniss, I’m not sure I’d want her as my child unless I was a very helpless parent.

So what about y’all–what characters would you not want as your spawn?

Ha! You took my first choice. And for some reason, I can’t pick a second.
